Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

So happy with it This is such a beautifully patterned rug that comes in neutral, versatile colors. The nature theme is realy well done and the images are clear and intricate. The beige color blends well with my decor and adds to this being a statement piece without being loud or taking over. The rug is really soft, stays in place on our laminate flooring and is low profile for easy cleaning and high traffic use. It took a couple days for the rug to uncrease and lie flat since it comes folded. This is advertised as being machine washable, however the rug has a decent weight and the 5x7 size I chose may be too much for my residential washing machine. The price is great (especially on sale) for the overall quality, size, softness and unique aesthetic.
Really impressed I wasn't sure if I wanted to add this to a very white and airy room, but honestly it did not disappoint, and in fact, continues to make the room feel "open" due to the light color and shading. I have very high ceilings and they're all white, cannot reach them, so this feels like a nice forest floor bed and opens up into the windows up high. The design is intricate and lovely. I didn't realize there were so many treasures to be found in the patterns - deer, foxes, bees, rabbits, dragonflies...what is also pretty clever is the "off white"ness of it. The whites are actually more shades of very light brown and grey mixed in. So this won't look too dirty over over time, there's a blendability factor until you can wash it. I spilled a bit of water on it that beaded right up, so I assume you have a bit of time if you spill other staining materials. This is very low pile and SOFT. I love lying on it (I love working on the floor for crafting, writing, etc). This is also quite thin and easy to roll. It came folded up and had no creasing. The versatility is fabulous for apartment living, packing, or changing up a style. One of my happier decor purchases this year. Note: this was a bit tricky to vacuum with my dyson V8. I put it on low mode and it still had some suction issues. I might have to get like a carpet scraper/brush. Probably other vacuums with more options would do okay with this, especially if it were weighted on the corners.
Love it This rug is what happens when a French chateau decides to go camping. It’s elegant, it’s darling, and it features enough wildlife to make a Disney princess jealous—I am the RLSW. As someone living in a wildlife habitat, it’s nice to finally have some animals in the house that don’t shed or ask for snacks at 3:00 AM. The Texture: It is "freaking soft." We’re talking "I might just cancel my bed and sleep on the tile" soft. It feels less like a floor covering and more like a giant, woven hug for your feet. Pros: It transforms the room into a magical forest glade. Cons: I now view every human foot as a potential biological hazard. I have considered installing a velvet rope or perhaps a small moat around it to keep "the public" (my family) away. Thankfully, it’s washable. This means when the inevitable happens and someone actually treats it like a rug instead of a priceless tapestry, I don't have to have a breakdown. I can just toss it in the wash and restore the woodland magic. Final Verdict: If you love animals and your feet enjoy being pampered by French-inspired softness, buy this. Just be prepared to glare at anyone who walks across it with dirty socks. 🥰. All in all, I’m happy with it.
Best purchase When this rug arrived, I was really shocked. It was in such a small box folded in a square, and I was worried the quality was going to be low. But every time I step on it, this rug makes me so happy! It's as soft as chenille on my feet and thin enough that I can open my door over it, even though it feels really squishy and soft. I've really nice heavy, quality area rugs in my home but this is just so soft and the thought that I can throw it in the washer is just fantastic. This one was for the foyer, but I'm ordering for the living room and bedroom also. The design is printed, and I know alot of people would say it looks cheap, but the softness and ease of cleaning is just more valuable. Also the roomba glides right over it, and the corners have never peeled up, and I’ve never tripped over it since the very first time I put it out. I can’t say that about any other carpet that I own. The nonstick backing works perfectly even though it’s not stiff. I saw a review on another item that said it was like a cheap blanket. Brilliant Item was delivered quickly and well packaged. Minimal wrinkles that smoothed out in the first day. I've bought several rugs, area rugs, large and small, and multiple runners from my home and it can be very tricky to find the right one by Internet shopping. We have a farm in the country and track in lots of dust and dirt. Three dogs, and sometimes baby goats that we have to feed pass by this area, so I needed something light that I can pull up quickly . Equally necessary is a rug that doesn’t slide around when my dogs prance through the kitchen, which has been a regular problem. I love this runner because of the anti-skid material underneath. Purchasing an additional rug pad is not needed with this runner. This also gives me peace of mind that my grandchildren won’t slip when they trot through my galley shaped kitchen. The print is very pretty and it has received several compliments. I’m now going to purchase the 3 x 5 in the same print. I definitely recomend this rug for anyone who has similar needs or challenges with rugs in their home.Update - I’ve been using the rug for around 2 months and have washed it in the washing machine. It came out great, like new. Still no sign of war or aging. Going to purchase a third rug. Couldn’t be more pleased.
So cosy I bought two. One for a bedroom and one for the living room. The pattern reminds me of Harry potter, not sure why but it does. The look is gorgeous and they are so butter soft it’s almost slippery (in a nice way). The rubber backing keeps it exactly where I want it without sliding around when the kids run. I love them! The only downside is that the rug is so thin you can't vacuum it with a typical vacuum. It get sucked right up. So that not great. But a rubber broom should work and they claim to be machine washable. Overall look and feel is just right
Does the job Just what I wanted. Completely changed the look of my bathroom. The value for money is good and the quality is what I expected at this price. It's thinner (which is what I was looking for) and I could see it slipping but for my purposes it will work nicely. Color was ideal.
Great buy I love the colors, very happy with this rug. It came folded but opened up flat without wrinkles nicely. Edges stay flat- no curling. The only thing is that it’s not textured as I thought it might be. It's so soft, but doesn’t look as high quality as a thicker, textured rug does. That said, I do recommend it as a less expensive option.
So happy with it This is simply a gorgeous rug and it feels and looks much more expensive than it's because of the colors and the pattern. It's giving early 20th century English County Manor vibes that as a vintage/history buff I adore. I got the Beige and love the muted tonal color scheme. The design is packing a ton of impact so I like that juxtaposed with the softer color scheme. I put it in my dining room area and I love walking over it--I stop and admire some part of it on a regular basis! It's unique and beautiful with a motif that's hard to find in a washable rug at this price point.
Spot on In love with this rug! It’s gorgeous and easy to keep clean. My puppy got sick and pooped all over it shortly after I got it and every bit of it came out just using soapy water and a rag- I was realy worried about it because I have the light beige color, but it looks just the same as the day I got it. I haven’t had to machine wash it yet. It is a bit wrinkly at first, but all the wrinkles came out within a day or two. The robot vacuum doesn’t get stuck on it and it’s vacuuming it is easy with the regular vacuum as well. The print is very pretty! It looks like it costs much more than I paid for it.
Lovely Love love love these! I've them in my halls including coming in from the front door. That one gets washed roughly every 4 months. Delicate cycle cold wash with the stain lifter detergent and booster.It's SUPER thin profile and that is exactly what I was looking for. I have older people in my home so trying to minimize trip hazard while still protecting my hardwood from heavy foot traffic area was important. The robot vacuum glides easily over the edges too. I did order a light colour but with regular vacuuming and that occasional wash it still looks realy nice and I do not see any stains despite work boot, snow, salt, and mud traffic. It's even survived a few spills!It does a decent job of staying in place. Since I vaccum anyway, I shift it back into place as it slowly migrates due to our walking patterns.Very happy with my runner rugs!
Great buy We bought two of their 3x5 rugs for our bedroom after having a bad fall on a slippery area rug. These checked all our boxes: pretty, soft on the feet, washable, and most importantly, non-slip with a robust rubber backing. They don’t move even if you try to slide on them, and being low pile means they are unlikely to catch your foot on the edge. Definitely NOT a thick cushy type rug, but these are nicely made and just right for our needs. Overall, it worked out very well.

Exactly as described Very pretty - woodland creatures - whimsical rug. A bit “slippery” to walk on because it’s such a soft weave of fabric. But if someone was sitting/playing on the floor it would be soft!I do not have a large washer, so I don’t know how it would wash… if needed I guess I’ll take it to a laundromat for a large washer. Overall, it was okay for me.
