Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Nice one This rug is so, so pretty. We've had the runner in front of our bathroom vanity for 6 months now, and I started noticing some fading much sooner. I still love it, but like other reviews say, the rug is made of white fibers under the dyed surface, so once the surface fades there isn't more color underneath. I wouldn't recommend for a more high traffic area of the house. Not sure how obvious it's in photo, but the very top edge where the rug is usually against the vanity is darker and more vibrant than the lower part where people stand now.
Highly recommend I absolutely love this rug! The rich colors and intricate floral design bring so much character and charm to our space. Chuffed with it People rail against me when I say I need a kitchen rug. They think it is disgusting where food can be dropped easily. But you know what else is disgusting? - stepping on a wet patch on your kitchen floor and feeling its coldness seep through your sock (yes, shoeless household here). So I basically want my kitchen rug to be the equivalent of one of those hotel towel bathmats - there to capture water so I am not having to tramp wetness all over my kitchen. So, this mat accomplishes that. It is pretty, it's washable, it's soft. All those things are good. The things I don't like - it's lightweight enough where it's pretty easy to kick up the edges accidentally. Also, if what you spill is crumby, vacuuming is a non-option because the rug is so lightweight that even my cordless vacuum just picks up the rug and cannot be swept around. It's just easier to pick up the whole rug and shake it out outside in that case. Anyway, hate on my kitchen rug if you like, but it gets the job done and can at least take a bath once in a while.
Does what it says This rug has been a lovely choice, its gorgeous and exactly like the photos, and SO soft. it is ideal for our space and gives my child a nicer/softer area to play in. I don't think it's water proof but I did spill part a water bottle on it by accident and it wiped up super easy and didn't leave any dampness. my only concern is its really hard to vacuum, idk if it's just my Dyson but as soon it gets on the rug the brush stops spinning so I have to kind of manually do it. not the end of the world, it could just be my vacuum maybe. and I can still get it cleaned up, but slightly annoying
So cosy We're a fan of washable rugs in our house, because they're much easier to care for than traditional rugs are. Add in that we have pets, and thanks to having a lot of machine washable rugs, we're able to ensure our house always smells fresh because we can just toss these into the machines.This rug in particular is absolutely stunning. The William Morris inspired pattern in green is so gorgeous that it's hard to believe this is a washable rug. We're having a hard time deciding where to place this, as it works with a lot of our decor in multiple rooms. I laid it out in the dining room, then moved it to the living room, and now we're considering bringing it into one of the bedrooms. The colors are rich and the pattern is crisp. The rug is very thin, which is common for washable rugs, and it's super simple to vacuum.It arrived folded, but I've found that unfolding it and then rolling it pattern side out and leaving it for a few days will help get the worst of the creases out and allow it to lay down easier. The rug stays in place on our hardwood floors pretty well, but due to having pets, we're using rug grips underneath on the corners to prevent any slipping thanks to our cats and their zoomies.Everyone who's seen this rug in person is shocked that it's machine washable, it looks absolutely stunning once it's laid down.
Gorgeous This is a very pretty and soft rug! It's true to size and came folded in a box. Despite being folded the wrinkles are already almost out of it. It feels like walking on a fuzzy blanket. The design is printed onto the carpet and the fuzz underneath is white, so if the carpet hairs get messed up white will show through which annoys me a little bit. But the print quality is excellent and should hold up in the wash ok. It is pretty reasonable for a charming washable rug, so I would just get one!
Beautiful I really loved this rug when I first got it. The pattern is lovely and it was soft. However, we have used this as our living room rug for 5 months and it's already in rough shape. The edges are fraying, it's insanely hard to vacuum without getting sucked up, and it's very worn down on the higher traffic areas of the rug to the point where it looks constantly dirty and just dingy. I'd not recommend this for high traffic aread or if you have pets. Very sad that I will now have to find a new rug after my 5 months.
Very good Dog hair loves this rug and the vacuum hates it. Not a good combo. I seriously love how charming, soft and plush this rug is. However, it attracts dog hair like crazy. It sticks to it and becomes engrained in it. I don’t mind vacuuming more often, if it was able to easily vacuum, which it isn’t. I have a shark pet cordless vacuum, and because the rug is so soft and plush the vacuum constantly thinks it’s getting something stuck in it. I can only do 1-3 passes at a time. I’m keeping it because it’s cute even though it’s torture to vaccine each time. Thinking about buying a new vacuum to see if that’ll help - but that ends up making this an expensive rug…
So cosy I rarely write reviews- but this rug is just awful! It’s SO THIN that I'm not even able to vacuum it. Literally, the vacuum lifts the carpet so much, the suction prevents the vacuum from being able to get pushed forward! Also, the rug bunches and wrinkles up all over, there is zero stability. No matter what, the rug looks sloppy and disheveled. I’ve bought other washable rugs in the past, and never had these issues. The design is pretty though.
Very happy So to start off, this rug is REALLY pretty!! It goes really well with my leafy floral theme in my room. It's really soft to walk on, almost like a really soft plush blanket texture. However, it's pretty thin. It's nice that it doesn't get caught on the multiple doors I've, though. The back is grippy and it doesn't slide. There weren't any creases after I laid it all out. The printing isn't that great, but at this price it seems reasonable. Overall this is a really nice budget friendly option. Large rugs get expensive really quick so this is a great alternative. I do recommend this, as it's just that pretty.
Good value Gorgeous! The colors are wonderful! exactly as pictured. I was concerned of the green looking more dark/black in person. It doesn't! its a vibrant deep green. I've received so many compliments! the grip/non slip backing is strong. It takes a few days to flatten out because it comes folded rather than rolled. But it was 100% worth it. Easy to sweep. I have a cordless stick vacuum and it doesn't do well on it, as if it can't tell its not a wood/solid floor surface bc the pile is so low, so it tries to pull it in/lift the rug. but I think that says more about my vacuum than the rug. I'll get a new vacuum/not smart floor ID and see how that does.
