Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Chuffed with it I purchased this lovely parlor 5x7 rug, with a different rug for the dining room. It was packed up tightly in a small square, instead of a roll. Luckily, I kept the foam padding from my last carpet, because this is very thin and you would probably have to spend money on padding, which defeats the purpose of an inexpensive rug. Besides that, This rug has been a lovely choice, it's inexpensive, soft and looks just like the picture. It does need to be vacuumed right out of the package, because it seems to have streaking from being folded up. I’m very happy with both the look, and the soft feel with my thick foam padding underneath.
Great quality I got the beige 8’ x 10’, and I am so pleased with it. This soft, beautifully printed rug will bless your eyes and your (bare) feet. I am particularly pleased that it will fit in our washing machine, because the beige background will need to be kept very clean.Though it has a busy pattern, the colors are restrained, and I think the beige version will work with a wide variety of rooms. The border looks very like a thin roll of wallpaper used to divide a wall painted or papered two different ways; I would love to be able to get a roll like that and co-ordinate the walls with the rug on the floor.The price is excellent and I feel I have got a real bargain.

So cosy We're a fan of washable rugs in our house, because they're much easier to care for than traditional rugs are. Add in that we have pets, and thanks to having a lot of machine washable rugs, we're able to ensure our house always smells fresh because we can just toss these into the machines.This rug in particular is absolutely stunning. The William Morris inspired pattern in green is so gorgeous that it is hard to believe this is a washable rug. We're having a hard time deciding where to place this, as it works with a lot of our decor in multiple rooms. I laid it out in the dining room, then moved it to the living room, and now we're considering bringing it into one of the bedrooms. The colors are rich and the pattern is crisp. The rug is very thin, which is common for washable rugs, and it is super vacuuming it is easy.It arrived folded, but I have found that unfolding it and then rolling it pattern side out and leaving it for a few days will help get the worst of the creases out and allow it to lay down easier. The rug stays in place on our hardwood floors pretty well, but due to having pets, we are using rug grips underneath on the corners to prevent any slipping thanks to our cats and their zoomies.Everyone who's seen this rug in person is shocked that it's machine washable, it looks absolutely stunning once it's laid down.
Nice one This large rug comes folded, so there is some creasing that needs to be worked out. It's realy very stunning once laid out and fills the living space beautifully. The colors are deep, rich and absolutely gorgeous. The pattern is well done and pleasing to the eye. There is lovely detailing on all the flowers and everywhere you look really. It's soft as well, the animals love it. It stays put very well, which is essential. It is also thin enough that my Roomba can clean it and ride over it without issue. I'm extremely happy with this rug and would buy again.
Beautiful I realy love this rug, its lovely and exactly like the photos, and SO soft. it's just right for our space and gives my child a nicer/softer area to play in. I don't think it's water proof but I did spill part a water bottle on it by accident and it wiped up super easy and didn't leave any dampness. my only concern is its really hard to vacuum, idk if it's just my Dyson but as soon it gets on the rug the brush stops spinning so I've to kind of manually do it. not the end of the world, it could just be my vacuum maybe. and I can still get it cleaned up, but slightly annoying
Spot on Gorgeous! The colors are fantastic! exactly as pictured. I was concerned of the green looking more dark/black in person. It does not! its a vibrant deep green. I have received so many compliments! the grip/non slip backing is strong. It takes a few days to flatten out because it comes folded rather than rolled. But it was 100% worth it. Easy to sweep. I have a cordless stick vacuum and it does not do well on it, as if it cannot tell its not a wood/solid floor surface bc the pile is so low, so it tries to pull it in/lift the rug. but I think that says more about my vacuum than the rug. I'll get a new vacuum/not smart floor ID and see how that does.
Best purchase So to start off, this rug is REALLY pretty!! It goes really well with my leafy floral theme in my room. It is really soft to walk on, almost like a very soft plush blanket texture. However, it's pretty thin. It's nice that it does not get caught on the multiple doors I have, though. The back is grippy and it doesn't slide. There weren't any creases after I laid it all out. The printing isn't that great, but at this price it seems reasonable. Overall this is a really nice budget friendly option. Large rugs get expensive really quick so this is a great alternative. I do recommend this, as it's just that pretty.
Nice and easy It’s so big and so colorful! Really makes my living room look so much better! The carpet in my rented apartment is horrible, it’s super old and stained and ugly, this perfectly covered it. Considering the price, I was impressed by the quality and thickness! It’s thinner than a normal rug, but I didn’t have the money to spend on a huge thick rug. It’s very soft, I love sitting and laying on the floor and it feels great. It doesn’t roll on the corners. I haven’t had to wash it yet, just vacuum without the roller brush on (hard floor setting) and that seems to work great for picking up dirt and crumbs.
Very good People rail against me when I say I need a kitchen rug. They think it's disgusting where food can be dropped easily. But you know what else is disgusting? - stepping on a wet patch on your kitchen floor and feeling its coldness seep through your sock (yes, shoeless household here). So I basically want my kitchen rug to be the equivalent of one of those hotel towel bathmats - there to capture water so I'm not having to tramp wetness all over my kitchen.So, this mat accomplishes that. It's pretty, it's washable, it's soft. All those things are good.The things I don't like - it's lightweight enough where it's pretty easy to kick up the edges accidentally. Also, if what you spill is crumby, vacuuming is a non-option because the rug is so lightweight that even my cordless vacuum just picks up the rug and can't be swept around. It's just easier to pick up the whole rug and shake it out outside in that case.Anyway, hate on my kitchen rug if you like, but it gets the job done and can at least take a bath once in a while. It worked well for me overall.
Gorgeous When I unrolled this rug, the first thing I noticed was how pretty the floral pattern was. The shades of black are soft and natural-looking, giving it a fresh and inviting feel. I’ll have to spot clean it or find another way to wash it, which is something to keep in mind if you're considering a larger size. It also sits flat pretty quickly after unrolling, which isn’t always the case with rugs that come tightly packed.If I had to nitpick, I’d say it’s a little thinner than I expected, so if you want something super plush, this might not be the best choice. Gorgeous These have been my favorite rugs in my kitchen. The print is adorable and trendy. Quality is pretty good at this price. I normally hate this kind of “fabric” rug, but for the price you really can’t be mad at all. Washes easily, have to vac with the stick vac on low but in between washes it works fine. I've lots of animals in my home and some fosters don’t always come with good potty skills, so being able to wash rugs has been one of the top tier inventions in the 21st century. The dogs love the rugs too, lol, they’ve become little resting spots. My dogs are seniors and larger breeds so it’s nice for them to safely be able to walk on and grip. I might look into some under pads as I do a lot of standing and cooking in the kitchen so these don’t offer the most padding, but it’s certainly better than just standing on the hard wood floor. Random review rant, sorry, I just smoked a full j , so my brain has officially left the building! I theeenks byeeee
