01, The thought
A new sofa is rarely the answer.
At some point most of us look at the sofa and think: I'm tired of it. But the sofa isn't tired. The room is. The light shifted, the walls aged, the cushion you bought on holiday no longer matches anything. Replacing the whole thing for that, it's a lot. It's expensive, it's slow, and it's wasteful for what it actually fixes.
Covaba started from that exact thought. There had to be a smaller answer than buying again.
02, The idea
Start with the shape. Not the brand of your sofa.
Online, sofa covers are sold by sofa brand, by model, by twelve filters that don't help. We did it differently. There are essentially three sofas: straight, L-shape, and U-shape. Pick yours. Then size. Then color and texture. Three steps, in the order that actually matters.
Stretch fabric does the rest. It hugs the cushions, it works with most cushion depths, and it lets you swap the look of the room in an afternoon.
