Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Brilliant Honestly, for under $60, I was not sure quite what to expect from this huge 5x7' rug, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I was actually taken aback at the weighty heft of it, particularly considering the very thin low pile that it has to it. The gorgeous unicorn and woodland creature scene is crisp and clear and looks just like the listing. I was nervous that because of how thin it was that vacuuming it would be an issue, but it was not whatsoever. It grips well to the ground and does not move around much at all, even with the kiddos playing on it. The kiddos also had a very lofty opinion of it- not only did they love the scene, but they rolled around for some time marveling at the softness. It seriously feels like velvet- I've never felt a rug this soft before. This also does not look inexpensive at all, which is shocking considering the wonderful price of it- I'd guess it to be twice the price or more if I had not been the one to order it. It looks like something out of a medieval forest dream, and the quality is just exceptional all around.
Top quality This is the type of rug that's super low pile and thin enough to throw in a large washing machine (at a laundromat, this one is the 5x7ft). At first it didn't lay on the floor flat because it was folded up for shipping, but just one day later and it's laying flat already without needing to lay something heavy on it to flatten it out. It feels like velvet. I love the scalloped edges the most but the design is really pretty, too. I love the squirrels and foxes on it. Definitely worth the price! Especially since it can be washed. Very happy with it! Overall, I’m very pleased with it.
Fine for the price Pictures don't do this rug justice. The design is lovely and crisp. I honestly contemplated keeping it my my own room, but my kids fell in love with it as soon as I put it down. I washed it once and that got any wrinkles out. The rug fit just fine in my own standard washer and dryer. The material is incredibly soft, almost velvety. We have ours on carpet, which makes it feel more plush than it is, just something to keep in mind. I have had family visiting from out of town and they loved this rug too.
Does the job This rug is so much fun. I need something for my bedroom. I want to add a touch of windy and fun, but didn’t want it to feel childish. The rug is really nice. I love the print in the pattern. It gives Renaissance a princess vibes charming animals there’s a unicorn squirrels, foxes bears and bunnies with a lovely laurel pattern. The rug itself is so soft under foot and it’s machine washable and dryable. My little dog peed on it. I’ve washed it three or four times before I took pictures of it I don’t see any fading in the color. It’s just as soft as it was when I took it out if not a little softer Definitely a cute fun option for your house.
Lovely The best rug!! I immediately changed my entire theme for my baby's nursery when I saw this rug that's how much I loved it. I received the rug and immediately washed it and it washed and dried so nicely. It's true to the color in the pictures and it's soo soft. I love the scallop edges and how nice the quality is. I'd would absolutely recommend.
Very happy I don't know what it's about rugs like this but I can't stop buying them because they're so pretty and easy to take care of. I've cats that like to throw up on the rugs (because that's just what cats do) and I can throw these in the washer and air dry them and they're good as new. They're a little thinner than regular rugs but it's not really an issue for me. They slide around just a little on hardwood floors but not to the point you'll slip and fall if you're walking on them. The print is also gorgeous and better than some of the other ones I have.
Couldn't be happier Lovely design and shape! We have about a dozen washable rugs like this covering all our wood floors (our dog had sugery and we needed to cover every surface). So we have LOTS of these inexpensive washable rugs to compare, so first off keep in mind this is not the kind of rug you find in a Lowes for $100+, this is a washable low-end "printed" rug. Printed rugs are basically just a design printed on a white rug, so don't expect high-end stitching here. As long as you come in with correct expectations, I think this rug is great! You can see that it is a dark rug printed on a white surface but compared with many of our others, this is one of the better printed rugs we have. I do think the lighter colors will look better and not show the seams as much where people walk but even the darker color black (which we got) I think still looks really nice. I also love the wavy edges here which just makes this one look a bit nicer than most our other versions. Personally, I also love the design. This is one of the rugs we will probably keep when we eventually get rid of the dozen rugs hanging out around our home right now. This one is great considering the price.
Nice one This rug is absolutely adorable. I LOVE the unicorns! And the foxes, and the hares and the bears...it's such a fabulous woodland wonderland! The scalloped boarder just finishes it off perfectly. The background green is fairly dark on this - I confess I was hoping it would be a bit brighter, but that's a small matter. The edge sewing is good, and the surface is soft. I've another larger woodland theme rug with a black background, and while they are not in the same space I love how the theme carries over as I move through my home. These are more mats than rugs really, no weaving. Which is why they are easy wash. And light enough to roll up and store if you want to change your theme. Super happy with this rug, it's just so whimsical and fun. The unicorns are sort of cartoon-like in their appearance, btw. Very charming. Would absolutely recommend!
Would buy again LEEVAN Size 5'x7' Faux Wool Unicorn Carpet. Came folded and vacuum packed. Has some weight to is considering this is a low pile rug. The patterns are very interesting to look at. Until you put it down you don't realize how lovely. My cat has found a new place to curl up. She seems to like the animals. At the foot of my be, this is the ideal place for this fantasy themed carpet. Lovely. And you can fold and put into a washing machine. Perfect.
Best purchase Unicorn lover here 😃 Wasn't sure which color to choose so I went with the girly pink. I love the design or artwork on this rug and it is just right for a girls room. The scalloped edging just adds to the quality and the look of the rug and it is incredibly soft. The non-skid backing is perfect and I love that it is also washable. 3 x 5 size is perfect at the end of the bed. I would say in this instance that I kind of wish I had chosen the black rug because the unicorns would've really really stood out and they blend into the light pinky/peach of this rug. Would absolutely recommend it and I don't think there's a unicorn lover out there who wouldn't like it.
Very happy I Absolutely love this rug! Our dog sometimes has accidents and she always goes straight for rugs. I thought I would never be able to keep a rug in the living room anymore, but this works like MAGIC! She has peed once on it and the rug is liquid resistant it just sat right on top of the surface for easy clean up 🧼 the material is nice and soft and I love the deep rich color.
