Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Decent quality I wasn't sure if I wanted to add this to a very white and airy room, but honestly it didn't disappoint, and in fact, continues to make the room feel "open" due to the light color and shading. I've very high ceilings and they're all white, can't reach them, so this feels like a nice forest floor bed and opens up into the windows up high. The design is intricate and lovely. I didn't realize there were so many treasures to be found in the patterns - deer, foxes, bees, rabbits, dragonflies...what is also pretty clever is the "off white"ness of it. The whites are actually more shades of very light brown and grey mixed in. So this won't look too dirty over over time, there's a blendability factor until you can wash it. I spilled a bit of water on it that beaded right up, so I assume you have a bit of time if you spill other staining materials. This is very low pile and SOFT. I love lying on it (I love working on the floor for crafting, writing, etc). This is also quite thin and easy to roll. It came folded up and had no creasing. The versatility is fabulous for apartment living, packing, or changing up a style. One of my happier decor purchases this year. Note: this was a bit tricky to vacuum with my dyson V8. I put it on low mode and it still had some suction issues. I might have to get like a carpet scraper/brush. Probably other vacuums with more options would do okay with this, especially if it were weighted on the corners.
Highly recommend This rug is what happens when a French chateau decides to go camping. It’s elegant, it’s darling, and it features enough wildlife to make a Disney princess jealous—I am the RLSW. As someone living in a wildlife habitat, it’s nice to finally have some animals in the house that don’t shed or ask for snacks at 3:00 AM. The Texture: It is "freaking soft." We’re talking "I might just cancel my bed and sleep on the tile" soft. It feels less like a floor covering and more like a giant, woven hug for your feet. Pros: It transforms the room into a magical forest glade. Cons: I now view every human foot as a potential biological hazard. I have considered installing a velvet rope or perhaps a small moat around it to keep "the public" (my family) away. Thankfully, it’s washable. This means when the inevitable happens and someone actually treats it like a rug instead of a priceless tapestry, I don't have to have a breakdown. I can just toss it in the wash and restore the woodland magic. Final Verdict: If you love animals and your feet enjoy being pampered by French-inspired softness, buy this. Just be prepared to glare at anyone who walks across it with dirty socks. 🥰. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.
Delighted When this rug arrived, I was really shocked. It was in such a small box folded in a square, and I was worried the quality was going to be low. But every time I step on it, this rug makes me so happy! It is as soft as chenille on my feet and thin enough that I can open my door over it, even though it feels really squishy and soft. I have really nice heavy, quality area rugs in my home but this is just so soft and the thought that I can throw it in the washer is just fantastic. This one was for the foyer, but I am ordering for the living room and bedroom also. The design is printed, and I know alot of people would say it looks cheap, but the softness and ease of cleaning is just more valuable. Also the roomba glides right over it, and the corners have never peeled up, and I’ve never tripped over it since the very first time I put it out. I can’t say that about any other carpet that I own. The nonstick backing works perfectly even though it’s not stiff. I saw a review on another item that said it was like a cheap blanket. Yeah, it is kind of like a blanket, but I love this so much more than my traditional rugs. I’m. It was a really good purchase for me.
Love it Olive green version purchased. It is far more muted than the website photo, but is still quite nice. Love the woodland design - very vibrant and clear. I attached a photo against a white rug so the level of green can be seen. Rug seems soft, but thinner than other washables. Green seems a bit brighter in direct light, more ashen in lower light levels. Haven't unfolded it yet due to construction, but if there are any issues I'll try to update this review. All in all, I’m pleased with it.
Would buy again This rug surprised me in the best way. It's comfortable to use underfoot without being too plush, so it's ideal for high-traffic areas. The green pattern adds some natural warmth without being too bold, and it blends in easily with different decor styles. I especially appreciate that it's machine washable—makes maintenance a breeze with pets around. It stays in place fairly well, though adding a rug pad helped. Not the thickest rug, but at this price and size, it’s a solid value.
Great buy Love love love these! I've them in my halls including coming in from the front door. That one gets washed roughly every 4 months. Delicate cycle cold wash with the stain lifter detergent and booster. It's SUPER thin profile and that is exactly what I was looking for. I have older people in my home so trying to minimize trip hazard while still protecting my hardwood from heavy foot traffic area was important. The robot vacuum glides easily over the edges too. I did order a light colour but with regular vacuuming and that occasional wash it still looks lovely and I do not see any stains despite work boot, snow, salt, and mud traffic. It's even survived a few spills! It does a decent job of staying in place. Since I vaccum anyway, I shift it back into place as it slowly migrates due to our walking patterns. Very happy with my runner rugs!
Would buy again This is simply a lovely rug and it feels and looks much more expensive than it's because of the colors and the pattern. It's giving early 20th century English County Manor vibes that as a vintage/history buff I adore. I got the Beige and love the muted tonal color scheme. The design is packing a ton of impact so I like that juxtaposed with the softer color scheme. I put it in my dining room area and I love walking over it--I stop and admire some part of it on a regular basis! It's unique and beautiful with a motif that's hard to find in a washable rug at this price point.
Best purchase I love everything about my new rug! The best part was the elegant woodland animal pattern, most especially BUNNIES - MY FAVES!!!!! 🐇🐇 Extremely soft & velvety, & due to the fact that I place the front legs of my furniture on it, it stays in place! I ordered the green & I will say the color isn’t as saturated as it is online, however, for my situation, I think the more muted taupe-ish, green color works better with my living room furniture! I’m thrilled! It was a really good purchase for me.
So happy with it I like the rug but it arived with a stain. I decided to wash it and the stain came out. I like it so much and was thinking of purchasing another rug. The experience didn't sit well with me. It was fine overall, with a few drawbacks.
Better than expected Very charming rug the green and the rug is more of a sage. Really soft to walk on related to the texture. The rug itself is very thin. It cleans up very easily. I have not yet put it in a washing machine to see if it really is washable. The backing does have a slight rubber feel, but it does not stop it from moving. I do recommend some sort of pad to assist with stability
Chuffed with it In love with this rug! It’s gorgeous and simple to clean. My puppy got sick and pooped all over it shortly after I got it and every bit of it came out just using soapy water and a rag- I was really worried about it because I have the light beige color, but it looks just the same as the day I got it. I haven’t had to machine wash it yet. It is a bit wrinkly at first, but all the wrinkles came out within a day or two. The robot vacuum doesn’t get stuck on it and it’s simple to vacuum with the regular vacuum as well. The print is very pretty! It looks like it costs much more than I paid for it.
Couldn't be happier Item was delivered quickly and well packaged. Minimal wrinkles that smoothed out in the first day. I have bought several rugs, area rugs, large and small, and multiple runners from my home and it can be very tricky to find the right one by Internet shopping. We have a farm in the country and track in lots of dust and dirt. Three dogs, and sometimes baby goats that we have to feed pass by this area, so I needed something light that I can pull up quickly . Equally necessary is a rug that doesn’t slide around when my dogs prance through the kitchen, which has been a regular problem. I love this runner because of the anti-skid material underneath. Purchasing an additional rug pad is not needed with this runner. This also gives me peace of mind that my grandchildren won’t slip when they trot through my galley shaped kitchen. The print is very pretty and it has received several compliments. I’m now going to purchase the 3 x 5 in the same print. I definitely recommend this rug for anyone who has similar needs or challenges with rugs in their home. Update - I’ve been using the rug for around 2 months and have washed it in the washing machine. It came out great, like new. Still no sign of war or aging. Going to purchase a third rug. Couldn’t be more pleased.
