Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.
Seen in real living rooms.
Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.

Chuffed with it I bought this for my bathroom and Absolutely love it. At this price, I didn't expect it to be as good of a quality as it is, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've had this rug for a few months now and I've washed it almost weekly since buying it and it's still in just right condition! No fraying, the non slip backing is perfectly intact, and dirt comes off so easily! The other reviews are correct that the coloring doesn't go all the way down to the base but that's not a problem for me. Also did I mention how SOFT this rug is!? Like my husband stepped on it for the first time and said "wow! This is incredibly soft! It feels like I'm walking on a fluffy cloud"So seriously, get it.
Great quality I got this runner to cover some torn carpet spots that one of my lovely dogs tore up…as well as to hopefully deter accidents from another dog. To start, this carpet is Incredibly soft and lovely to walk on. The colors are vibrant and the print matches the description to a tee. The back is perfectly rubberized…on wood floors, I’m sure it’d stay put. Naturally it moves a bit on carpet but that’s to be expected. The tiny flaw is that when the fabric is rubbed in the opposite direction, it doesn’t seem to be fully dyed on every fiber. But it’s not a huge deal. The BIGGEST pro for me is, sadly, it has not deterred my older dog from her newfound fixation with having accidents in that area. That’s not the pro obviously haha! The pro is, I’ve washed this runner rug 3-4x’s now and it’s still good as new! Machine washable, and dryer friendly, this rug has not lost any fibers or had issues being washed multiple times. I’ve had this runner for approx. 3-4 months, the pics were taken just before this review, and it still looks lovely!
Spot on I actually love this rug…it's both colorful and soft. However, I’m giving it only 4 stars because it's so thin (I understand that it is washable and meant to be less bulky) and it is difficult to vacuum. I use a Dyson stick vacuum and it will not work on this rug because it sucks it up into the vacuum head causing the vacuum to shut down. I've the vacuum set on the lowest suction. It came folded and didn't have any difficult to get out creases and I do like it so I will not return it. Maybe I’ll buy a cheaper vacuum 🤷🏻♀️.
Spot on I ordered several of these to go on top of carpet in “problem” areas (pet-related). I scattered them throughout the Great room and they are fabulous. I can’t afford to replace the carpet right now with laminate, so I just cleaned the carpet really well and put these rugs over vulnerable areas. They look really nice and they feel so soft! My dog who is the current main culprit in corrupting the main carpet, seems to respect these soft rugs. He stretches out on them and I totally believe he might not pee on them. LOL. OK, well, if he does, they are machine washable, unlike the carpet underneath them.I ordered two round, one 4’ x 6’, and a long runner. They are so charming. I love walking across them barefooted. They feel almost like those faux fur throws, though not shag at all. They lie flat, no chemical smell. So reasonably priced, I will probably buy more.
Spot on I searched for months for a rug for my daughters play area and loved this design as soon as I saw it! Took a few weeks to get here since it was a newer release. I wasn’t expecting it to come in a box folded like a blanket- the creases are still visible even after a few days and after going over it with a vacuum several times, and it doesn’t lie flat on the ground. The softness is just right- it feels more like a blanket than a rug. Love that it’s washable (haven’t actually washed it yet but the idea is great). Some of the areas, mostly the black dots, are faded and could have used more color. It doesn’t have a smell which is great.
Best purchase I am so pleased with this 3x5 ft. rug in the blue pattern! Its pros may necessarily result in some cons for some uses, but it's just right for sprucing up my small laundry room. It's just matches the description and shown on the product page-- lovely colors, soft, lies flat, slip resistant, folds compactly if you want to store it, machine wash and dry on cold gentle. It's soft but not thick or cushiony, but if it was it wouldn't be easily washable in home machines. I don't want a two-piece washable rug; I wanted something simple, easy, and affordable and this is it. I like it so well I've ordered a similar smaller one for my bathroom and I may order a runner for my kitchen. It actually looks better than I expected.I haven't washed it yet but many reviews say it washes fine. My powerful Shark vacuum tries to eat it (the lightweight and washable thing again), but my little featherweight Bissell with no brush roller works well if I go from the center toward the edges. I think my robot vac will work fine on it, too. The texture is so soft, not like most rugs. To my bare feet it feels almost like a very low pile soft fleece throw, but with a thin non-slip backing that helps it lie flat but does not provide any cushion. It would be great to put down for a cleaner play area for a baby, too.If it lasts as expected I think it's a good value, although other patterns in the same size and brand were half the price (but I wanted the light blue botanical!) I don't think it would work in place of a door mat because it's not thick, the texture is very soft, and the colors are light. For most uses it would be fine unless you want thick, padded, and not washable. As long as you are aware of the characteristics of this different kind of area rug I think you'll be pleased with it.
Fine for the price This rug is way better than I expected. The texture is SO soft and has some length but not much. This is being used in our nursery therefore not sure how it’ll hold up over time of being walked on and such but the colors blend very well with her pastel rainbow colors theme. We wanted something to subtlety stand out from rainbows and this fits the colors while doing that! I’ve vacuumed it once so far and it held up well but we’ve not yet had our baby girl so traffic on it hasn’t been much yet. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.
So cosy I'm genuinely pleased w/the purchase of the Covaba Green Botanical rug it's so soft, I love all the colors, and design goes well w/my boho decor aesthetic. I didn't rate stain or cleaning because I just received my order. However, I ordered a similar rug almost identical to this one and I did have a spill issue, which automatically beaded up and I just dabbed it and poof all gone and no harm done. With having pets the washable rugs are fantastic! I'd however recommend a runner, which I ordered to make running a vacuum cleaner easier over the rug so it doesn't slide. Happy Customer!
Top quality It’s nice and thin so I can toss it in the wash, but not too thin for my plastic wood floor. It feels a lot more expensive than it was! I looked around A LOT because I needed it to work with the room I already had, and this was the best quality considering the price I wanted to pay. I liked how it came folded in a box, too, so I didn’t have to bother with dirty plastic and a giant rolled rug. Really drove home how thin and malleable it's, too. The creases came out within a couple of weeks, or I could probably have washed it to get them out faster. It doesn’t slide on my plastic floor even when my kids push those big chairs across it! Why can’t my kids leave the room alone?!
Decent I have 3 toddlers & 2 dogs so it’s safe to say that the amount of accidents, spills, etc. this rug has endured is pretty profound. I have washed the rug at least 10 times now with zero fading of color or softness. It is very thin, but that is to be expected if you want to be able to wash this rug at home. I love the neutral colors that are offered as well as the design that can go with almost any style of home. Always wash this rug in COLD water & HANG DRY. While the rug is wet, the color will look ruined/faded but once it dries it will look brand new! It was a really good purchase for me.
Delighted The color wasn’t exactly what I’d hoped, BUT, I have three corgis with one being a puppy and their constant playing causes every single rug in my house to move around on my wood floors.I bought the 2x8 runner and this thing hardly moves! It’s not thick, but it feels like a plush blanket on a nonslip backing. It’s SO SOFT!It feels heavenly to walk on and the dogs love it too.I’ve already bought three area rugs similar to this now because I love this one so much! Overall, it worked out very well.
Couldn't be happier I have had this for a year and the design has held up well but the rug itself has not. I have it in my bedroom and where my cats walk on it it is really picked apart. They're not scratching it, just walking, but I think the frequency of it has caused significant wear. It is also very thin, which is not something the seller tries to hide, but I think I did not realize how thin a quarter inch was.Overall it is a good deal for the cost but it would do best either on top of carpet or in a decorative rather than functional manner, and I think it's best suited for low traffic areas or in a pet-free home.Pros: ships quickly, no odor, no wrinkles when unrolled, design holds up even though it's printed not dyedCons: not good for high traffic, thin, hard to vacuum due to thickness
Good quality This rug is gorgeous. I'm using it for my toddlers bedroom. I had to throw away the previous rug. My toddler is currently potty training. This rug is soft but thin. It serves its purpose. The size is just right for a small narrow baby room. The color is on the whiter side so purchase with that in mind. I do find it picks up dirt easier because of this. I've been able to clean it with no difficulties. I will be purchasing another for the playroom definitely worth it !
So cosy This is absolutely adorable! It warms up the feeling of the whole room and the colors are ideal! When we decorated my granddaughters new bedroom we bought both the rectangle along with the round rug. She was so thrilled! It is a bit thin but a rug cushion could take care of that if it’s a problem for you. However, It does lie flat so you don’t trip over it. I love the rectangle and the round rug! They add a different dimension to the room.
Good quality This rug is SO comfy to walk on. The material is so soft under foot. While it’s on the thinner side, it doesn’t feel thin when walking on it. It’s comfortable for me to lay on during my child’s tummy time. It vacuums easily without the brush roller turned on, so it’s been easy to keep clean that way. I haven’t tried to wash it yet. I’ve vacuumed multiple times without any pieces of fabric pulling up. If I ever don’t need this rug in my nursery in the future, I will be stealing it for my own bedroom because that’s how comfortable it is to walk on with bare feet!
