Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.
Seen in real living rooms.
Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 10 reviews.
So happy with it I bought the 8x10 green version of this rug for my living room. It’s really soft, and the rug has little grippy things on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. It is pretty thin, but that is to be expected from a washable rug. I expect the rug will flatten out over a couple of days- the photos I uploaded were taken right after the rug was taken out of the box and laid down.
Very happy I love my new rug. It was compactly folded on arrival and easy to transport to my office. The folds came out quickly without having to place anything on the ridges. The rug is soft and lovely. It’s thin, as intended. I have ordered from Covaba before and am never disappointed. No smell to it. Thank you!
Couldn't be happier This is ideal. Lovely. Unique. Absolutely love it! It's soft, not too thin, not too thick. It matches in my living room perfectly! There's just one *glaring* problem...I have four children. Within a week you could see the tiniest bit of dirt- everything they do seems to leave a mark. It's quickly becoming less pristine. It's destroying my soul.
Delighted I really dig this rug! It goes great with my furniture, and the rubber backing keeps it in place. But be careful if you're walking on it in socks, slippers, or bare feet—it is pretty slippery. Still, I would totally recommend it. It's a good deal, and it seems to be holding up well. I have had mine for a few months now.
Really happy This is an 8x10 large rug that covers an entire floor. It is low pile meaning it sits low to the ground and that is important to me because I like my Roomba to do the majority of my cleaning. The color and the unique design of this rug is absolutely lovely. It was a really good purchase for me.
Good quality This is a very pretty, low profile rug. It has a nice, non slip bottom. Once the folds from shipping comes out, it sits flat. The edges are reinforced and are made well. The rug is so soft to the touch. It's a nice size for my daughter's bedroom. It's easy to sweep and spot clean. The color is very pretty.
Great quality I love this gorgeous baby blue rug, which is made in a ripple design, like water in layers. It's made of faux wool and is easy to spot clean or vacuum, and it has a beautiful wavy band of white all around the edges that looks like rick-rack, if anyone else remembers what that is. This comes in several colors and could be used in your bedroom, living room, playroom, or anywhere else you need a rug. We have faux hardwood floors, and my dog and I think they're cold and slippery, so we have rugs almost everywhere in our home. This particular rug is going to live in the dining room, under my long table, where we needed a rug and where we can still see the pretty pattern and design of this one. The rug has a TPE backing and is nonslip, nonskid. If it stays in place or slide when my 95-pound Labrador hits it full speed ahead, it isn't going to slip or slide. It's low pile but feels much thicker than it actually is, and it would also work very well in our bedroom or living room. I love the pale blue and white colors of the rug and would also love to have this rug in pink in our bedroom. I definitely recommend this beautiful, uniquely designed rug, which is low pile, has a TPE backing, doesn't slip or slide when my dog lands on it, and stays where I put it. The seller tells us this is machine washable in the 8'x10' size, but I'm not going to try that. It's easy to spot clean, and my robo-vac goes over the rug just fine. This is an excellent product, and my bargain sniffer, my Labrador, has just informed me that there's a $15 off coupon on this rug now.
Lovely There is so much to love about this rug. I went pink and the pinks are dusty and not bright and obnoxious. Its thickness and size are wonderful as is its feel. It is like buttery smooth and just so soft. The quality and craftsmanship is 5 stars on its own. I love its versatility as it is great for different rooms in the house. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a great new rug to freshen up a space.
Couldn't be happier I'm so stoked about this rug! It's really spruced up our office. It unfurled really smoothly, unlike some other rugs I've bought that were rolled. And the material? It's crazy soft! There was no yucky smell when I took it out of the package. I'd totally tell anyone to get this rug. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.
Happy with it I really liked the scalloped edge and rug shape. I need something brighter. The blues and greens were pretty. The rug is easy washed in the washer. The rug lays nicely, did not slip, rolled out nicely, and had a good thickness. Overall, it was a good purchase.
