Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 14 reviews.
Perfect The rug is so pretty and just right for hiding dirt from the back yard. I have had it laying out for a little over two weeks and it still hasn't flattened completely out. Its not a big deal to me but might be to someone else. My cat has already plucked some threads lose so beware pet owners. I haven't washed it yet so I cannot speak to it holding up but I'll update when I do. Edit: I dropped this to 3 stars. The threads pull up very easily just with normal use.
Beautiful Such a lovely rug and very soft and just as described I’m going to order another one. The colors are more vibrant in the which brings out the pretty green and the flowers it’s what I wanted and I would definitely recommend. The color is as described very pretty in person. The quality is great no smells and no shedding and the stickiness to the floor is great we put out dining table on it and it hasn’t moved out of place. Durability is good.
Very happy **Updating my rating to 5/5. Looks like the "discoloration" is a part of the design and I didn't realize it before I bought the rug. Super pretty rug, worth the price.** I gave this rug 4/5 becuse there's some weird discoloration all over the rug. The discoloration is mostly noticeable on the edge of the rug, and not as bad throughout the patterned area. The rug is still lovely, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way (I'm assuming not). I'm a massage therapist and I'll be using this in my studio/workspace, so at this price it's just not worth sending it back because it's likely that drops of oil could get on the rug and it'll be in a ambiant space anyway. The pattern and colors are true to the image and its very pretty. The back is nice and grippy, and the material is soft under my feet. I think I'll enjoy having this rug im my studio.
Brilliant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Love This Rug! I’m very happy with this purchase! The rug is super colorful — even better in person than in the photos. It instantly brightened up the room and gave it a fun, vibrant vibe. It’s also incredibly soft underfoot, which was a nice surprise — ideal for lounging or walking barefoot. Excellent quality for the price, no weird smells out of the package, and it laid flat pretty quickly. If you’re looking for a statement piece that’s cozy and cheerful, this is it!
Good quality We get compliments every time someone new comes by and sees it. Its definitely very thin. But that just makes it easier to clean and to vacuum on a lower setting. Its held up to a 2/3 year old boy, 2 adults, and 4 cats in the living room. We have an anti slip mat underneath the middle. Be warned the corners and edges will definitely curl up and is definitely not meant to have anything heavy pulled across it, but its very easy to live with especially at this price.
Really impressed Don’t expect the material to be standard carpet. It’s soft, much like a fleece blanket, but I personally don’t mind the texture, and neither do my cats lol. The colors are great, it adds so much ambience, and it’s super affordable. A side note: It gets wrinkled easily, even on carpet. I’m regularly tugging it to straighten it back down. I’d suggest getting something underneath to stop it from moving. Overall, it was a good purchase.
Delighted Okay, so I put this rug down as soon as it arrived. It arrived folded up so I was worried it wouldn't sit flat or need to de-wrinkle first. Pleasantly surprised that it didn't need to and laid flat almost immediately. It is so soft! It is not super plushy, but that's fine by me because it's so soft and also in a somewhat high traffic area, so I prefer that. The colors are better than I expected, and it has a cottage/forest feel to me, which I love. I haven't tried washing it yet, which it is supposed to be machine washable, so if I need to update this review when I have to wash it, I will. I try to spot treat things usually anyway, so unless a big spill happens, I will do that instead. I like this rug enough that I may consider the runners for my hallway. My boys have already been playing on it, saying how soft it is and also just running around like they usually do, and it has stayed in place. At this price and quality, I definitely recommend this rug!
Great buy This 48" round rug was exactly what I was looking for. Great design, too. Instead of using a tree skirt under my christmas tree this year, I bought this rug to function as one instead. It's so much more durable than a tree skirt, it's the ideal size, and will protect my floors from getting scratched with the tree stand. It will also be super simple to clean up water spills from watering the tree. There was no odor from this rug. It came folded rather than rolled, so mine had a few creases but nothing a few days of laying flat won't fix!
Would buy again Machine washable, looks really nice, has held up well. You will need to bring it to a laundromat for this size, but worth it when our dog... well you don't need the details! It can't go in a dryer and it's HEAVY when wet. Go for an extra spin in the commercial washer and have a place set up for drying it. Be sure to plan for how you'll get a heavy, wet rug home. We set up an impromptu drying rack using an 8' table and 4 sawhorses in the garage. Our robot vac does a good job, but our big vacuum cleaner sticks the whole thing up.
Couldn't be happier I wanted a rug that was darker colored and not excessively expensive, and this was a good buy. It does not move on the ground, it is pretty simple to vacuum (with my small handheld vacuum), and the look of the print is exactly as displayed on the images/reviews. I have two cats, and one of them likes to run over this with their claws out, and I have noticed little fabric pulls on top, not super noticeable but something to note. It is also very slippery if you're wearing socks, so maybe beware if you have kids or have limited mobility. It's also really soft on your feet.
Love it This rug has been a lovely choice. I got the 5 x 7 and it’s perfect. The rug is SO soft, the colors are vibrant, and the design was exactly as pictured. It does not slide around with tile, even with us frequently walking over it or sliding my office chair around on it. Over the course of a few days of heavy traffic, it’s maybe shifted an inch. It’s so gorgeous though we laugh about whether it has pomegranates or onions on it, which we think is the best. Very lightweight and I can see it being washes easily, as it’s light and made well, but I haven’t thrown it in the wash yet. There was a bit of a visible seam along one side which really wasn’t an issue to me.
Pleased with it I'm giving this a 4 star simply for the quality. It is a nice soft rug, but I probably would not use this for high traffic areas as the durability is questionable. I don't think it would last very long. It is gorgeous and whimsical, and everything I needed for this spot regardless. I'm coming back after living with these for a few weeks. I found I have to vacuum them set at a high pile on my vacuum otherwise they get sucked up into the vacuum and they're impossible to keep clean. They're also hair MAGNETS. The material these rugs are made from was not designed for people with pets. Do I still love them? Yes absolutely. Are they annoying and hairy all the time? Also yes.
So cosy Lovely, very soft underfoot, the just right size for our long and narrow bathroom! Oddly enough, our mid-century home has lighter blue and deep burgundy tile in the bathroom, so this could not match any better!! The color is perfect! The quality is excellent, and it works well in the bathroom because it is a more plush runner compared to some others we have, so a little water dries quickly. Machine washable and it remains soft.
Great quality This is a beautifully patterned rug that really really lifts our family room. The positives are that A) not many places have such a lovely pattern (becuse I've looked!), B) the price is very affordable (compared to other rugs this size that are $400-$500), C) it sticks to my tile w/out needing a rug pad and D) it says it's machine washable. The negatives are that A) the rug is very thin and I needed to buy a rug pad (for my own comfort) and B) I couldn't vacuum it (even on a low speed) as it suctions to the vacuum and stops. I guess you can only use an iRobot style or very very low suction vacuum. Because we love this pattern so much, we're keeping the rug. Our solution was to buy a lint roller w/a long handle to clean any dirt, etc. until we need to wash it.
