Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Best purchase Love love love this look! Purchased in the Natural/Black diamond pattern for my French country look. The 2x6 fits across the width of the French doors (tho it is not centered well in the photo) and the 3x5 is an extra large mat inside the doorway. (Absolutely love it so much I've ordered another On order for outside my front door.) The nonslip backing really works to keep it in place, and I'll be interested to see how it holds up to the "washable" claim. It's hard to see with the online photos and it's not described well, but the Natural color has a tinge of terracotta to it, if that matters to you. I don't mind it and thought it would be more forgiving than the Light option of any dirt and stains. Also, they do come folded (just, Why??) but with handy tips to help remove the creases. One tip is to leave it outside in the sun for 2 hours, which didn't seem to do anything. Next I'll try using a hair dryer to heat the rubber backside, but with regular wool/poly rugs I've put ice cubes on the crease, with & without a weight on top of the ice cubes, and been very successful in removing even stubborn creases. Otherwise, it's really pretty, functional and exactly matches the description.

Perfect I’ve used peel and stick before in my apartment and it turned out awesome, in fact when I moved they kept it up. I wanted to spruce up my rv and I've a western vibe going. I picked the leather in black for a small wall. I read the reviews which helped me choose the right one. This is a wonderful quality it a great weight, so many others are thin and tear easily. Being I chose black and it was going over a light gray wall at first I tried a very slight overlap, I took it down. When going with a dark start at the top then work the seam. Almost as if you are installing a laminate floor. Work slow and smooth the seam. I even used a blow dryer to warm the seam as I went to make sure it was flush. I only have 2 sections done which I will attach a photo and once completed I will update. All in all I'd definitely recomend this product. My passion is design so I’m always looking to change something and I would definitely purchase again.

Perfect I’ve had this rug for about a week, laying flat and heavy things on the larger creases. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be improving. There are a couple pulls in the rug which cause beige lines through the black design. I really wanted to like this rug, but if you lay it anywhere the sun shines you’ll be able to see too many imperfections. Overall, it did not work well for me.

Beautiful I am never sure about ordering online and not being able to feel the texture first but I love this mat. My entryway floor is a light color and the door traffic has me constantly cleaning the floor.. I added the mat for spring and looks polished while still collecting dirt from shoes. It is textured enough to collect dirt but not hurt your feet and leave the ‘jute’ residue from similar mats. It also adheres to the floor without tripping over it or the dog sliding across. Overall, it worked out very well.

Exactly as described I’m really impressed with this checkered jute-style rug. The colors are perfectly neutral—just enough contrast to give my entryway a designer look without being loud. It pairs beautifully under my personalized doormat (photo attached), and instantly made my front porch feel more put-together. The quality surprised me in a good way. It lays completely flat, no curled edges, and feels thick and durable. Even with foot traffic and the occasional Texas wind gusts, it stays in place better than I expected. The checkered pattern looks crisp and clean, not fuzzy or washed out like some budget outdoor rugs. It’s also easy to shake out and clean, which is important since it’s used outside. I haven’t had any fading so far, and the texture gives it a nice upscale look compared to the flimsy printed mats I’ve tried in the past. If you want a rug that updates your porch instantly, layers well with a doormat, and has that classic checkered look without being overly bold, this one is a winner. Exactly as described I ordered this to use as a base so that I could add another rug on top for a more unique styling. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this rug has an anti-slip coating on the bottom so no rug pad or rug grippers were needed. This rug came folded up in a box but laid flat without any manipulation and had minimal creasing. At this price this was a steal! The rug may be considered too thin for those using as a stand alone rug.

Exactly as described Size was matches the description, as was the color. I wouldn’t exactly describe the texture as soft, but it’s as expected for an outdoor rug. It’s not laying totally flat as I just put it down but I will update if the creases don’t resolve on their own in the next day or so. The rubber underlining does do a good job at making sure it stays put, but the rug itself is on the thinner side. So if you’re planning on using it in an area you’ll be using frequently, I’d recommend buying a carpet pad to put underneath. Overall, I'd say it’s a pretty very made well for what you’re paying for.

Exactly as described Wanted to write a quick review because this was an unexpectedly good looking mat. I go through doormats at one entrance to my house like they're the lying in front of the trailer for a hard-living rockstar while on tour in a war torn island nation made up entirely of Chuckie Cheese franchise locations. No idea why - but I am used to it. So I didn't put a lot of time into selecting this thing as it is bound to only last for a few months. Looks lovely though so I got 8 more. Will be a nice year.

Brilliant Literally pulled it out of its packaged the minute it got delivered so the corner of the rug is rolled up a little. Hopefully it smooths out of the next few days. But i love how it elevated the doormat. Really digging the checkered look lately. Price is a little more than i like to pay for something outdoors but the size is big 3x5 making it just right for double doors. Thin which is perfct for a layering mat. Sticks well to the outdoor concrete so no slipping and sliding. Comfy as i always walk barefoot outside to get my packages. Seems durable, i will update my review in a couple months when I’ve had it longer. Great for outdoor use.

Would buy again I was looking for a runner for my kitchen. I wanted something that was visually interesting and I feel like this was exactly that. It fits just right in the space that I needed it. The quality is wonderful and it doesn’t slide when you walk on it because of the material underneath. I’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family and they love it! The ‘white’ part looks like a jute type material and is so lovely. It’s not very thick but the quality is still amazing and it works wonderfully for the space! I haven’t tried cleaning it yet but I’ll update this review when I do :)

Delighted Not going lie when I saw it arrived in a box I was like “great I’ll be sending this back” and again at first glance when I opened the box. The texture didn’t look promising. Well, I went for it and was surprised. The texture is great, it looks really nice.I’m rating it a 3 because 2 short months later in a room we barely use there are fibers that are pulled like fraying. I’m bummed out because it’s the exact look I wanted.

Absolutely love it So very charming and has held up well. Looks really nice in my entry and has added a little touch of whimsy to my doorstep. It did have wrinkles and I tried many methods including the reverse roll in order to remove them but it did not work. I ended up having to take an iron to the back side which released the wrinkles (should have used this method from the get go). Regardless, I really like it and have used it for six months and it stills looks great!

Great buy I’m so happy with this rug overall. The quality was better than I expected at this price, and it looks very true to the listing photos once it was laid out in my space.
