Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.

Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.

Very happy I like the rug and it's easy to sweep off when it gets dirty. My only issue is that for some reason, I thought it would be more black with off-white or white but it's actually black and tan. I'm going to keep it becuse it does the job I need it to do but I was hoping for a little different in terms of color. It's not a soft or plush rug so it is nice for places that you expect to get heavy foot traffic. It should be pretty durable for those purposes.

Best purchase Love it! The price point was fair ($40 something, I think at the time of purchase). The rug stays put for the most part and passes the baby jump test! We weren’t expecting it to be nonslip but it’s actually really nonslip on the vinyl flooring. We have two Saint Bernards that love to lay on it by the front door and a large family with lots of traffic in and out the front door. Easy to keep clean and very low profile which is great for our doors which have very little room for clearance. We were specifically looking for something like this. It’s stylish and doesn’t look dirty very easily which is great for us with all the shoes, paws, and the likes. Like all rugs received from shipping it was a little crinkly at first but not terrible as you can see from the pictures straight out of the packaging. It settled down quickly without any extra measures.

Best purchase I’ve had this rug for about a week, laying flat and heavy things on the larger creases. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be improving. There are a couple pulls in the rug which cause beige lines through the black design. I realy wanted to like this rug, but if you lay it anywhere the sun shines you’ll be able to see too many imperfections. All in all, I was disappointed.

Great quality Arrived today. It was folded up into a small package. I love the look of it. Flat enough that when I open up the front door, it doesn’t get stuck on my rug and I did put an inexpensive rug pad under it is laying pretty flat but still has wrinkles in it. I’m hoping those will go out in a few days. The material feels nice and soft to the touch.Update: lightly sprayed with water and put some books on the wrinkled area. Already much better in 1 day! It worked well for me overall.

Very happy Love love love this look! Purchased in the Natural/Black diamond pattern for my French country look. The 2x6 fits across the width of the French doors (tho it is not centered well in the photo) and the 3x5 is an extra large mat inside the doorway. (Absolutely love it so much I've ordered another On order for outside my front door.) The nonslip backing really works to keep it in place, and I'll be interested to see how it holds up to the "washable" claim. It's hard to see with the online photos and it's not described well, but the Natural color has a tinge of terracotta to it, if that matters to you. I don't mind it and thought it would be more forgiving than the Light option of any dirt and stains. Also, they do come folded (just, Why??) but with handy tips to help remove the creases. One tip is to leave it outside in the sun for 2 hours, which didn't seem to do anything. Next I'll try using a hair dryer to heat the rubber backside, but with regular wool/poly rugs I've put ice cubes on the crease, with & without a weight on top of the ice cubes, and been very successful in removing even stubborn creases. Otherwise, it's charming, functional and exactly just as described.

Great quality Wanted to write a quick review because this was an unexpectedly good looking mat. I go through doormats at one entrance to my house like they're the lying in front of the trailer for a hard-living rockstar while on tour in a war torn island nation made up entirely of Chuckie Cheese franchise locations. No idea why - but I am used to it. So I didn't put a lot of time into selecting this thing as it is bound to only last for a few months. Looks really nice though so I got 8 more. Will be a nice year.

Highly recommend Size was just as described, as was the color. I wouldn’t exactly describe the texture as soft, but it’s as expected for an outdoor rug. It’s not laying totally flat as I just put it down but I will update if the creases don’t resolve on their own in the next day or so. The rubber underlining does do a good job at making sure it stays put, but the rug itself is on the thinner side. So if you’re planning on using it in an area you’ll be using frequently, I’d recommend buying a carpet pad to put underneath. Overall, I would say it’s a pretty very well made for what you’re paying for.

Better than expected I’m really impressed with this checkered jute-style rug. The colors are perfectly neutral—just enough contrast to give my entryway a designer look without being loud. It pairs beautifully under my personalized doormat (photo attached), and instantly made my front porch feel more put-together. The quality surprised me in a good way. It lays completely flat, no curled edges, and feels thick and durable. Even with foot traffic and the occasional Texas wind gusts, it stays in place better than I expected. The checkered pattern looks crisp and clean, not fuzzy or washed out like some budget outdoor rugs. It’s also easy to shake out and clean, which is important since it’s used outside. I haven’t had any fading so far, and the texture gives it a nice upscale look compared to the flimsy printed mats I’ve tried in the past. If you want a rug that updates your porch instantly, layers well with a doormat, and has that classic checkered look without being overly bold, this one is a winner. I’d absolutely buy it again in another size. All in all, I’m happy with it.

Very good I am super happy with the quality and design of these runners. I ordered two to place along my kitchen cabinets. We had just had our white cabinets painted black and the rugs make my kitchen look so fresh and modern. The weave is tight and they do not slide at all, which is important to us elderly people. They are thin but for a kitchen it works. I am excited they can be cleaned in the washer machine. Would absolutely recommend.

Gorgeous I love everything about the rug, it looks so good in my living room BUT be warned, the pattern is printed on the rug not woven in, if you are planning to put this in a high traffic area be warned that it will unstitch very easily. I’ve had this rug for less than 2 weeks and there are scratches on the rug just from people walking on it. In all it’s decent at this price and gives you that high end look, but it won’t last long.

Top quality I was looking for a runner for my kitchen. I wanted something that was visually interesting and I feel like this was exactly that. It is a ideal fit in the space that I needed it. The quality is fantastic and it doesn’t slide when you walk on it because of the material underneath. I’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family and they love it! The ‘white’ part looks like a jute type material and is so lovely. It’s not very thick but the quality is still amazing and it works wonderfully for the space! I haven’t tried cleaning it yet but I’ll update this review when I do :)

Chuffed with it So very charming and has held up well. Looks lovely in my entry and has added a little touch of whimsy to my doorstep. It did have wrinkles and I tried many methods including the reverse roll in order to remove them but it did not work. I ended up having to take an iron to the back side which released the wrinkles (should have used this method from the get go). Regardless, I realy like it and have used it for six months and it stills looks great!

Best purchase I couldn’t be happier with this outdoor rug—it’s absolutely gorgeous and has completely transformed my front area. From the moment I laid it out, it gave my entryway such a warm and inviting feel, and months later, I’m still just as in love with it. The design is stylish without being overbearing, and it complements my space beautifully. What really impresses me is the quality. After months of use, it has held up incredibly well against foot traffic and weather, with no noticeable fading or wear. It’s one of those pieces that makes a subtle but meaningful impact, and I love seeing it every time I pull up to my home. If you’re looking for something that’s both durable and aesthetically pleasing, this is a just right choice.
