Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.
Seen in real living rooms.
Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.

Absolutely love it Love this rug! Transformed my room into the green haven I’ve been trying to create. The size and quality is just what I wanted. The corners don’t curl up and it’s easy to keep clean. Will definitely be buying another one for my living room!
Very happy The quality of this rug is better than expected considering the price and it being washable, it is light weight but still heavy enough to sit flat with a lined bottom and really soft. The pattern image quality is good but I ordered black and the color is a nice dark black on one end and the other end is very clearly a lighter gray, almost looks as though it's been in the sun on that side.
Good value So soft and looked awesome in my living room. Excellent quality! Understand it has an artistic fade at the top where the sun is supposed to be shining on the flowers. I thought it was gorgeous but some people think it is fade but it is ment to be that way.
Great buy This area rug is absolutely lovely and since I put it in my living room, I have received so many compliments on it. The deep rich black with the contrasting green and white details can match so many different decors. It’s very soft, easy to use and is not thin like some area rugs can be. That functions exactly like it should and I love the fact that it’s washable, which makes taking care of it very easy. I didn’t come with any weird smells. Five out of five stars this area rug is wonderful.
Top quality Love!! This rug is ideal for what we were wanting, very low, very soft, the back is very “sticky” as in it’s not moving, no need for anything under it! The colors are just like the picture, we definitely recommend!
Happy with it This rug is BEAUTIFUL!! And it is so soft! We previously had a $300 rug in our room, and have just replaced it with this - and we like this even more! It’s vibrant and beautiful and just right for our bedroom. This is fantastic, especially at this price!!
So cosy It looks just right with the couch I bought. The color and design are lovely. It’s not a thick rug but is has a soft surface. It would be perfect for someone with pets that’s constantly vacuuming like me!
Really happy I ordered the 5x7 rug and it's gorgeous! The rug is thin but it is SO soft and feels great on the feet. The design is gorgeous and fits ideal for my room. So far it is easy to keep clean and looks like it will fit fine in the washer when the time comes. 10/10 would happily recommend!
Top quality Gorgeous rug! It is a somewhat lighter color on one side than the other, which is not perceptible from the photo, but it’s lovely nonetheless. This rug has held up beautifully in our busy kitchen and is machine washable.
Nice one This rug is just right for the mini library I'm creating. It's very soft and thin enough to fit under our low doors. Note that it does have a fade to it--I'm not sure if it's intentionally designed that way or if it's a flaw, but it doesn't impact its appearance negatively for me.
Good quality Excellent rug! Incredibly soft and doesn’t show the white under the print unless it gets wet. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but bought it because I've an older dog who can’t always hold it for more than a few hours. It’s holding up well so far!
Lovely This is a lightweight rug. You have to hold down the edges to vacuum it. The pattern is lovely to look at and the feel is so soft. It is easy to pick up and hang to beat out the dust or hose off.
Spot on Shrug is just right and I love the colors. I will say it’s a little more green than emerald like shown in the picture but it’s still works with my space. The rug is very soft and looks like it’ll fit in the washing machine easily if I need to wash it. It's then so when you step on it, it does still feel like you’re walking on a hardwood floor, but I did put a rug pad underneath and it’s a little bit softer now overall super really pretty and definately worth $45. I’m really hoping that it stays this soft if I keep it clean.
Really happy I love the style and color of this rug. I ended up returning it because I needed a 5 x 7 and it didn’t come in that size but I was upset that I had to return it. It really is very pretty. It was a really good purchase for me.
