Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.
Seen in real living rooms.
Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 13 reviews.
Great buy While the description states the color of this rug is “black”, soft subtle shades of green and peach are minimally dispersed adding visual interest. The detail of the botanical components is fantastic. This rug does not look like a budget-minded, affordable rug. Though it certainly is affordable, the quality and care that went into its design are of a much higher standard than typically seen at this price point. I recommend this rug and am so pleased to have this rug in my living room.
Exactly as described Very gorgeous. Aesthetics are more or less a matter of taste, but the design and color of this is the ideal balance of elegance and Christmas-themed indulgence. If you look closely, you'll notice the red background goes from a deep dark to a lighter, brighter red. Just something to keep in mind.5 stars, but if I had to complain, it would be the thickness. It's kind of thin and provides virtually no cushion to your knees when you're down under the tree opening gifts.
Good buy This area rug is absolutely lovely and since I put it in my living room, I have received so many compliments on it. The deep rich black with the contrasting green and white details can match so many different decors. It’s incredibly soft, easy to use and is not thin like some area rugs can be. That functions exactly like it should and I love the fact that it’s washable, which makes taking care of it very easy. I didn’t come with any weird smells. Five out of five stars this area rug is wonderful.
Good quality It's very soft and comfy to step on barefoot. Doesn't get soaked with accidental water spill easily, enough time to wipe off and dries up quick. Easy to wipe off snack crumbs. Vibrant design really brightens up and fills our cozy living room. I wish I had more floors to buy more. I definitely recommend. I will buy again when needed. I haven't needed to wash it, so I can't say anything about that, but it stays pretty clean.
Great buy Shrug is ideal and I love the colors. I will say it’s a little more green than emerald like shown in the picture but it’s still works with my space. The rug is incredibly soft and looks like it’ll fit in the washing machine easily if I need to wash it. It's then so when you step on it, it does still feel like you’re walking on a hardwood floor, but I did put a rug pad underneath and it’s a little bit softer now overall super really pretty and definitely worth $45. I’m really hoping that it stays this soft if I keep it clean.
Perfect This rug is just right for the mini library I'm creating. It's realy soft and thin enough to fit under our low doors. Note that it does have a fade to it--I'm not sure if it's intentionally designed that way or if it's a flaw, but it doesn't impact its appearance negatively for me.
Superb Beautiful design on this! Short fibers so easier to clean and really soft. It actually lays flat so the corners dont curl! It just elevated the whimsy of my room and I really like it so much! I haven't noticed any shedding and we just got it so I can update on that and the durability if I remember in a few months. I didnt notice any particular odor during unpacking. Was on the expensive side for a rug but that is my own preference. It was charming and I wanted it so I got it.
Great buy The rug color was as pictured, and I like it a lot. I took off one star, just because it’s not very thick, and doesn’t provide much padding. So it looks good, but does not feel so soft under foot on top of flooring. I use it on the floor where I do yoga, because the floor gets very cold, and it gives me more space for when my exercise reach beyond my mat. For this purpose, it’s been working out well, because the fibers are soft, and smooth. Well worth what I paid, because it was a fraction of the cost of most rugs. I can’t speak about durability or ease of cleaning, because I don’t use it in a high traffic area, and I don’t wear shoes on it.
Couldn't be happier Pretty but really thin. Wads up easily, even with a pad. Overall, it was okay for me.
Better than expected i was skeptical about paying such a high price for the rug but i was surprised by how nice it is! its incredibly soft and nonslip, just just as described. plus, the review pictures made it seem dull but its actually surprisingly vibrant in person! it was a little too big for my room but putting it on the floor wasnt too hard. overall, very satisfied with my purchase; was definitely worth what I paid <3
Decent I love the rich colors and it is soft! Wear the rugs is folded , the fibers are bent, so It looks a little bare in those places. But I still love the rug! I bought two for my bedroom and it definitely adds so much to the room. Recommend! All in all, I’m happy with it.
Really impressed Love this rug. It’s definitely become a staple in my living room. I like minimalistic decor so this was my statement piece to tie the whole room together. The rug isn’t as dark as the photo though. It’s lighter like a faded green which I prefer more anyways. The issues with it is because it’s machine washable, which I will never do, it’s super thin. There’s no cushion. It’s just for aesthetic purposes. And it’s hard to vacuum. It keeps getting sucked up into my vacuum and pulls the whole rug and it’s annoying. All in all, I’m pleased with it.
Absolutely love it So I bought two of these because I'm redoing both my little office section and my little dining area. I wasn't exactly sure if it was going to be too busy or not. But at this price I was able to get two gorgeous rugs reasonably priced. This rug is absolutely beautiful. It has almost like an ombre look where it fades from dark green into sage green which is absolutely gorgeous. It's not too busy and it really does bring out the brightness of the room and make it look more open. I absolutely love it.
