Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Lovely Very really pretty and soft and for a great price. I had put it down by myself so it’s a little wrinkled but as it sits the wrinkles are setting into place. It's washable but you would need an industrial size washer to wash. I got the black 8x10.
Brilliant I was looking for a green. This dark green rug is actually green and just as pictured on the site. It is gradiant from a lighter grass green to a spruce green and nice mix of greens in the floral print. Love it for all year and looks lovely with the Christmas tree! These rugs are on the thin side but the old one has held up well and still looks good. However after washing I can’t seem to get the edges flat after putting in the dryer. It did not fade, washed great but next time I’m going to hang over the railing to dry. They are affordable and fun to change out through out the seasons.
So cosy While the description states the color of this rug is “black”, soft subtle shades of green and peach are minimally dispersed adding visual interest. The detail of the botanical components is wonderful. This rug does not look like a budget-minded, affordable rug. Though it certainly is affordable, the quality and care that went into its design are of a much higher standard than typically seen at this price point. I recommend this rug and am so pleased to have this rug in my living room.
Love it Lovely design on this! Short fibers so easier to clean and very soft. It actually lays flat so the corners dont curl! It just elevated the whimsy of my room and I really like it so much! I haven't noticed any shedding and we just got it so I can update on that and the durability if I remember in a few months. I didnt notice any particular odor during unpacking. Was on the expensive side for a rug but that is my own preference. It was really pretty and I wanted it so I got it.
Absolutely love it This rug is ideal for the mini library I'm creating. It's incredibly soft and thin enough to fit under our low doors. Note that it does have a fade to it--I'm not sure if it's intentionally designed that way or if it's a flaw, but it doesn't impact its appearance negatively for me.
Perfect It's super soft and comfy to step on barefoot. Doesn't get soaked with accidental water spill easily, enough time to wipe off and dries up quick. Easy to wipe off snack crumbs. Vibrant design really really lifts and fills our cozy living room. I wish I had more floors to buy more. I definitely recommend. I will buy again when needed. I haven't needed to wash it, so I can't say anything about that, but it stays pretty clean.
Nice quality I love the rich colors and it is soft! Wear the rugs is folded , the fibers are bent, so It looks a little bare in those places. But I still love the rug! I bought two for my bedroom and it definately adds so much to the room. Recommend! Overall, I’m very pleased with it.
Perfect This rug has been a lovely choice, but I wish I had noticed you can't vaccuum it before I bought it. I feel like I can't ever get this rug completely clean.
Very happy Full disclosure, I haven’t washed this in a machine yet, but I’ve had to spot clean it, and I’ve had it for a few months in a high traffic area. I’d normally worry that something thin enough to wash would be worn out quickly but that’s not the case. And the colors are lovely and vibrant, it gets so many complements.
Does the job Very gorgeous. Aesthetics are more or less a matter of taste, but the design and color of this is the just right balance of elegance and Christmas-themed indulgence. If you look closely, you'll notice the red background goes from a deep dark to a lighter, brighter red. Just something to keep in mind.5 stars, but if I had to complain, it would be the thickness. It's kind of thin and provides virtually no cushion to your knees when you're down under the tree opening gifts.
Superb The rug color was as pictured, and I like it a lot. I took off one star, just because it’s not very thick, and doesn’t provide much padding. So it looks good, but does not feel really soft under foot on top of flooring. I use it on the floor where I do yoga, because the floor gets very cold, and it gives me more space for when my exercise reach beyond my mat. For this purpose, it’s been working out well, because the fibers are soft, and smooth. Well worth what I paid, because it was a fraction of the cost of most rugs. I can’t speak about durability or ease of cleaning, because I don’t use it in a high traffic area, and I don’t wear shoes on it.
Great quality Shrug is just right and I love the colors. I will say it’s a little more green than emerald like shown in the picture but it’s still works with my space. The rug is very soft and looks like it’ll fit in the washing machine easily if I need to wash it. It's then so when you step on it, it does still feel like you’re walking on a hardwood floor, but I did put a rug pad underneath and it’s a little bit softer now overall super charming and definitely worth $45. I’m really hoping that it stays this soft if I keep it clean.
Solid buy This area rug is absolutely lovely and since I put it in my living room, I have received so many compliments on it. The deep rich black with the contrasting green and white details can match so many different decors. It’s incredibly soft, easy to use and is not thin like some area rugs can be. That functions exactly like it should and I love the fact that it’s washable, which makes taking care of it very easy. I didn’t come with any weird smells. Five out of five stars this area rug is fantastic.
Really pleased So I bought two of these becuse I'm redoing both my little office section and my little dining area. I wasn't exactly sure if it was going to be too busy or not. But at this price I was able to get two lovely rugs reasonably priced. This rug is absolutely beautiful. It has almost like an ombre look where it fades from dark green into sage green which is absolutely gorgeous. It's not too busy and it really does bring out the brightness of the room and make it look more open. I absolutely love it.
Nice and easy Love this rug. It’s definitely become a staple in my living room. I like minimalistic decor so this was my statement piece to tie the whole room together. The rug isn’t as dark as the photo though. It’s lighter like a faded green which I prefer more anyways.The issues with it is because it’s machine washable, which I will never do, it’s super thin. There’s no cushion. It’s just for aesthetic purposes. And it’s hard to vacuum. It keeps getting sucked up into my vacuum and pulls the whole rug and it’s annoying. Overall, it was a good purchase.
