Faux Wool
The everyday foundation of every Covaba rug, a soft faux-wool microfibre woven short and tightly packed. It reads warm and understated underfoot, and carries printed designs with crisp, true color.
- Dense, low pile that clears an interior door and takes a chair leg without marking
- Rubber backing grips bare boards and tile on its own, so there is no rug pad to buy or trim
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, no tumble
Sized for the space you live in.
Rugs in standard dimensions, under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, beside a bed, or along an entry. Match the rug footprint to the area you want to anchor.
Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Why this rug stays flat and washes clean.
-
01
Built to be walked on
Straight off the floor, into the machine, back down the same day. Spills, muddy boots, the daily traffic of a room that gets used.
-
02
Stays where you put it
A non-slip rubber backing holds the floor. No sliding underfoot, no corner curling up to catch a toe.
-
03
Clears the door
A pile low enough for a door to swing over, dense enough that a chair leg leaves no mark.
-
04
The look of wool, the life of microfibre
Soft faux-wool depth underfoot, without the one thing wool cannot do: go in the machine.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric
Our fabric is tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, for a home that is easy to live with every day.
Seen in real living rooms.
Rugs, runners and doormats, filmed by the people who live on them.
The floor, reconsidered.
A rug redraws a room without moving a single piece of furniture. Set it under the seating area rather than wall to wall, and everything around it falls into place, the sofa, the table, the way you walk through.

Couldn't be happier I really love this rug! It's true to size (I got the green 8'10") and it's nice and soft. It's thin but I honestly don't care lol. I just wanted something to cover most of the floor and my downstairs doesn't have carpet (cause I prefer carpet lol). I also didn't realize it was ombre in color too! So that's cool. Also, it comes out easy out the box. Can barely notice the creases from when it was folded up. I recommend this if you want something to cover a large area without breaking the bank.
Really happy I was looking for a green. This dark green rug is actually green and just as pictured on the site. It's gradiant from a lighter grass green to a spruce green and nice mix of greens in the floral print. Love it for all year and looks lovely with the Christmas tree! These rugs are on the thin side but the old one has held up well and still looks good. However after washing I can’t seem to get the edges flat after putting in the dryer. It didn't fade, washed great but next time I’m going to hang over the railing to dry. They are affordable and fun to change out through out the seasons.
So cosy While the description states the color of this rug is “black”, soft subtle shades of green and peach are minimally dispersed adding visual interest. The detail of the botanical components is wonderful. This rug does not look like a budget-minded, affordable rug. Though it certainly is affordable, the quality and care that went into its design are of a much higher standard than typically seen at this price point.I recommend this rug and am so pleased to have this rug in my living room.
Highly recommend The quality of this rug is better than expected at this price and it being washable, it is light weight but still heavy enough to sit flat with a lined bottom and so soft. The pattern image quality is good but I ordered black and the color is a nice dark black on one end and the other end is very clearly a lighter gray, almost looks as though it's been in the sun on that side.
Top quality This area rug is absolutely gorgeous and since I put it in my living room, I have received so many compliments on it.The deep rich black with the contrasting green and white details can match so many different decors. It’s very soft, easy to use and is not thin like some area rugs can be.That functions exactly like it should and I love the fact that it’s washable, which makes taking care of it very easy. I didn’t come with any weird smells.Five out of five stars this area rug is fantastic.
Better than expected So I bought two of these because I am redoing both my little office section and my little dining area. I wasn't exactly sure if it was going to be too busy or not. But considering the price I was able to get two gorgeous rugs reasonably priced. This rug is absolutely beautiful. It has almost like an ombre look where it fades from dark green into sage green which is absolutely gorgeous. It is not too busy and it really does bring out the brightness of the room and make it look more open. I absolutely love it.
Really happy Shrug is just right and I love the colors. I will say it’s a little more green than emerald like shown in the picture but it’s still works with my space. The rug is very soft and looks like it’ll fit in the washing machine easily if I need to wash it. It's then so when you step on it, it does still feel like you’re walking on a hardwood floor, but I did put a rug pad underneath and it’s a little bit softer now overall super really pretty and definitely worth $45. I’m really hoping that it stays this soft if I keep it clean.
Love it Very lovely. Aesthetics are more or less a matter of taste, but the design and color of this is the just right balance of elegance and Christmas-themed indulgence. If you look closely, you'll notice the red background goes from a deep dark to a lighter, brighter red. Just something to keep in mind.5 stars, but if i had to complain, it would be the thickness. It's kind of thin and provides virtually no cushion to your knees when you're down under the tree opening gifts.
Beautiful The rug color was as pictured, and I like it a lot. I took off one star, just because it’s not very thick, and doesn’t provide much padding. So it looks good, but doesn't feel so soft under foot on top of flooring. I use it on the floor where I do yoga, because the floor gets very cold, and it gives me more space for when my exercise reach beyond my mat. For this purpose, it’s been working out well, because the fibers are soft, and smooth. Well good value for the money, because it was a fraction of the cost of most rugs. I can’t speak about durability or ease of cleaning, because I don’t use it in a high traffic area, and I don’t wear shoes on it.
Lovely Really lovely rug! Very soft and doesn’t show the white under the print unless it gets wet. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but bought it because I have an older dog who can’t always hold it for more than a few hours. It’s holding up well so far!
Chuffed with it I ordered the 5x7 rug and it's gorgeous! The rug is thin but it is SO soft and feels great on the feet. The design is gorgeous and fits just right for my room. So far it is easy to keep clean and looks like it will fit fine in the washer when the time comes. 10/10 do recommend!
Beautiful Gorgeous design on this! Short fibers so easier to clean and very soft. It actually lies flat so the corners dont curl! It just elevated the whimsy of my room and I love it so much! I haven't noticed any shedding and we just got it so I can update on that and the durability if I remember in a few months. I didnt notice any particular odor during unpacking. Was on the expensive side for a rug but that is my own preference. It was really pretty and I wanted it so I got it.
Brilliant This rug is Gorgeous!! And it is so soft! We previously had a $300 rug in our room, and have just replaced it with this - and we like this even more! It’s vibrant and beautiful and just right for our bedroom. This is fantastic, especially for the price!!
So cosy i was skeptical about paying such a high price for the rug but i was surprised by how nice it is! its very soft and nonslip, just matches the description. plus, the review pictures made it seem dull but its actually surprisingly vibrant in person! it was a little too big for my room but putting it on the floor wasnt too hard. overall, very satisfied with my purchase; was definitely worth what I paid <3
Better than expected Pretty but realy thin. Wads up easily, even with a pad. It was fine overall, with a few drawbacks.
