Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Lovely I was looking for a rug that would take these blue velvet MCM couch and play them down as the rest of my home is more neutral and earthy colors… well this rug definitely did the job. The blue in the rug accents the couches perfectly while also bringing in the sage and rust colors I have throughout the rest of the house! The 8x10 was ideal for our living area. It’s so soft and much easier to clean that traditional longer pile rugs.
Happy enough This rug is so, so pretty. We've had the runner in front of our bathroom vanity for 6 months now, and I started noticing some fading much sooner. I still love it, but like other reviews say, the rug is made of white fibers under the dyed surface, so once the surface fades there isn't more color underneath. I would not recomend for a more high traffic area of the house.Not sure how obvious it is in photo, but the very top edge where the rug is usually against the vanity is darker and more vibrant than the lower part where people stand now. It worked well for me overall.
Highly recommend I got the beige 8’ x 10’, and I'm really happy with it. This soft, beautifully printed rug will bless your eyes and your (bare) feet. I am particularly pleased that it will fit in our washing machine, because the beige background will need to be kept very clean.Though it has a busy pattern, the colors are restrained, and I think the beige version will work with a wide variety of rooms. The border looks very like a thin roll of wallpaper used to divide a wall painted or papered two different ways; I'd love to be able to get a roll like that and co-ordinate the walls with the rug on the floor.The price is excellent and I feel I've got a real bargain.
Absolutely love it This is a very pretty and soft rug! It's true to size and came folded in a box. Despite being folded the wrinkles are already almost out of it. It feels like walking on a fuzzy blanket. The design is printed onto the carpet and the fuzz underneath is white, so if the carpet hairs get messed up white will show through which annoys me a little bit. But the print quality is really good and should hold up in the wash ok. It is pretty reasonable for a really pretty washable rug, so I would just get one!
Solid buy So to start off, this rug is REALLY pretty!! It goes really well with my leafy floral theme in my room. It's really soft to walk on, almost like a very soft plush blanket texture. However, it's pretty thin. It's nice that it doesn't get caught on the multiple doors I've, though. The back is grippy and it doesn't slide. There weren't any creases after I laid it all out. The printing isn't that great, but at this price it seems reasonable. Overall this is a really nice budget friendly option. Large rugs get expensive really quick so this is a great alternative. I do recommend this, as it's just that pretty.
Best purchase Omg! Ideal for pets!!!! Rug provides the traction we need for play in high traffic rooms but it does not slip!!!! It was so economical in price! This rug has been a lovely choice! It also will fit in washer; it’s smaller than my Queen duvet and sheet set in space ! It’s also incredibly soft and pretty! I definitely plan to get more of these for other areas of the home. So so happy! Seems that hair is not clinging to it either
Couldn't be happier These have been my favorite rugs in my kitchen. The print is adorable and trendy. Quality is pretty good at this price. I normally hate this kind of “fabric” rug, but for the price you really can’t be mad at all. Washes easily, have to vac with the stick vac on low but in between washes it works fine. I have lots of animals in my home and some fosters don’t always come with good potty skills, so being able to wash rugs has been one of the top tier inventions in the 21st century. The dogs love the rugs too, lol, they’ve become little resting spots. My dogs are seniors and larger breeds so it’s nice for them to safely be able to walk on and grip. I might look into some under pads as I do a lot of standing and cooking in the kitchen so these don’t offer the most padding, but it’s certainly better than just standing on the hard wood floor. Random review rant, sorry, I just smoked a full j , so my brain has officially left the building! I theeenks byeeee
Delighted People rail against me when I say I need a kitchen rug. They think it's disgusting where food can be dropped easily. But you know what else is disgusting? - stepping on a wet patch on your kitchen floor and feeling its coldness seep through your sock (yes, shoeless household here). So I basically want my kitchen rug to be the equivalent of one of those hotel towel bathmats - there to capture water so I'm not having to tramp wetness all over my kitchen.So, this mat accomplishes that. It's pretty, it's washable, it's soft. All those things are good.The things I don't like - it's lightweight enough where it's pretty easy to kick up the edges accidentally. Also, if what you spill is crumby, vacuuming is a non-option because the rug is so lightweight that even my cordless vacuum just picks up the rug and can't be swept around. It's just easier to pick up the whole rug and shake it out outside in that case.Anyway, hate on my kitchen rug if you like, but it gets the job done and can at least take a bath once in a while. All in all, I’m pleased with it.
Love it We are a fan of washable rugs in our house, because they're much easier to care for than traditional rugs are. Add in that we have pets, and thanks to having a lot of machine washable rugs, we're able to ensure our house always smells fresh because we can just toss these into the machines.This rug in particular is absolutely stunning. The William Morris inspired pattern in green is so gorgeous that it is hard to believe this is a washable rug. We're having a hard time deciding where to place this, as it works with a lot of our decor in multiple rooms. I laid it out in the dining room, then moved it to the living room, and now we're considering bringing it into one of the bedrooms. The colors are rich and the pattern is crisp. The rug is very thin, which is common for washable rugs, and it is super simple to vacuum.It arived folded, but I've found that unfolding it and then rolling it pattern side out and leaving it for a few days will help get the worst of the creases out and allow it to lay down easier. The rug stays in place on our hardwood floors pretty well, but due to having pets, we are using rug grips underneath on the corners to prevent any slipping thanks to our cats and their zoomies.Everyone who's seen this rug in person is shocked that it's machine washable, it looks absolutely stunning once it's laid down.
Good buy This rug is lovely. It's very soft and light weight. It's looks just like the picture. Only thing i could say is that I wish the mauve and peach colors were more vibrant but overall it's a muted colored rug despite being black. This photo really brings pur the light blue in the rug, but i promise, it's not a bright blue. It's all muted greens and blues with some peach/mauve and cream. It goes great with my green walls. I really like it.
Brilliant I have had the rug for a couple of weeks now, so far Absolutely love it. The green color is dark but still vibrant enough for me to tell that it's green. I was worried, as I had read some reviews saying it didn't look green or super dark. I haven't tried to wash it yet, but I've vacuumed it. The rug likes to get sucked up by the vacuum, probably due to its thinness. It's not an issue it just makes vacuuming a little difficult. Also, it's really soft to the touch and my cat loves it.
Fine for the price This rug has been a lovely choice, its lovely and exactly like the photos, and SO soft. it's ideal for our space and gives my child a nicer/softer area to play in. I don't think it's water proof but I did spill part a water bottle on it by accident and it wiped up super easy and didn't leave any dampness. my only concern is its really hard to vacuum, idk if it's just my Dyson but as soon it gets on the rug the brush stops spinning so I've to kind of manually do it. not the end of the world, it could just be my vacuum maybe. and I can still get it cleaned up, but slightly annoying
Highly recommend When I unrolled this rug, the first thing I noticed was how pretty the floral pattern was. The shades of black are soft and natural-looking, giving it a fresh and inviting feel. Best purchase This is one of several,of these faux wool printed area rugs I have. They are actually a really good rug considering the price. They sit low on the floor and has a nice nonslip back. They look nice and keeps your hardwood floors warm during the winter months. The clean up well, The small sizes you can just throw them in the washer. My older ones of these ware about 2 years old and are now just starting to show some wear. So I expect they will last 3 to 5 years depending on the traffic on them.
Chuffed with it Gorgeous! The colors are fantastic! exactly as pictured. I was concerned of the green looking more dark/black in person. It doesn't! its a vibrant deep green. I've received so many compliments! the grip/non slip backing is strong. It takes a few days to flatten out because it comes folded rather than rolled. But it was 100% worth it. Easy to sweep. I have a cordless stick vacuum and it doesn't do well on it, as if it can't tell its not a wood/solid floor surface bc the pile is so low, so it tries to pull it in/lift the rug. but I think that says more about my vacuum than the rug. I'll get a new vacuum/not smart floor ID and see how that does.
