Faux Wool

Choose by the room, not the furniture. In a living room, a rug works best when the front legs of your sofa sit on it. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm beyond the table edge so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.
- Measure the length and width of the area you want to anchor.
- Leave 20–30 cm of bare floor around the rug for breathing room.
- For sofa pairings, extend the rug 30–60 cm beyond the front legs.
- For under-table placement, allow at least 60 cm of rug beyond each side of the table.
- For bedrooms, frame two sides of the bed with at least 60 cm of visible rug.

Brilliant Love love love this look! Purchased in the Natural/Black diamond pattern for my French country look. The 2x6 fits across the width of the French doors (tho it's not centered well in the photo) and the 3x5 is an extra large mat inside the doorway. (I really like it so much I've ordered another On order for outside my front door.) The nonslip backing really works to keep it in place, and I'll be interested to see how it holds up to the "washable" claim. It's hard to see with the online photos and it's not described well, but the Natural color has a tinge of terracotta to it, if that matters to you. I don't mind it and thought it would be more forgiving than the Light option of any dirt and stains. Also, they do come folded (just, Why??) but with handy tips to help remove the creases. One tip is to leave it outside in the sun for 2 hours, which did not seem to do anything. Next I'll try using a hair dryer to heat the rubber backside, but with regular wool/poly rugs I've put ice cubes on the crease, with & without a weight on top of the ice cubes, and been very successful in removing even stubborn creases. Otherwise, it's charming, functional and exactly just as described.
Superb I’ve used peel and stick before in my apartment and it turned out awesome, in fact when I moved they kept it up. I wanted to spruce up my rv and I have a western vibe going. I picked the leather in black for a small wall. I read the reviews which helped me choose the right one. This is a wonderful quality it a great weight, so many others are thin and tear easily. Being I chose black and it was going over a light gray wall at first I tried a very slight overlap, I took it down. When going with a dark start at the top then work the seam. Almost as if you are installing a laminate floor. Work slow and smooth the seam. I even used a blow dryer to warm the seam as I went to make sure it was flush. I only have 2 sections done which I will attach a photo and once completed I will update. All in all I would would absolutely recommend this product. My passion is design so I’m always looking to change something and I would definitely purchase again.
Delighted Arrived today. It was folded up into a small package. I love the look of it. Flat enough that when I open up the front door, it doesn’t get stuck on my rug and I did put an inexpensive rug pad under it is laying pretty flat but still has wrinkles in it. I’m hoping those will go out in a few days. The material feels nice and soft to the touch.Update: lightly sprayed with water and put some books on the wrinkled area. Already much better in 1 day! Overall, it was a good purchase.
Chuffed with it I’ve had this rug for about a week, laying flat and heavy things on the larger creases. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be improving. There are a couple pulls in the rug which cause beige lines through the black design. I really wanted to like this rug, but if you lay it anywhere the sun shines you’ll be able to see too many imperfections. All in all, I was disappointed.
Decent quality So very really pretty and has held up well. Looks really nice in my entry and has added a little touch of whimsy to my doorstep. It did have wrinkles and I tried many methods including the reverse roll in order to remove them but it did not work. I ended up having to take an iron to the back side which released the wrinkles (should have used this method from the get go). Regardless, Absolutely love it and have used it for six months and it stills looks great!
Superb Ideal for the space. Color is exactly as pictured. It is rough woven, so keep that in mind. It is not soft! That's fine with me as it's under a teak dining room table. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it came folded instead of rolled. This means that it's full of creases that need to be steamed out with a low heat steam iron. If your confident doing this, no problem, but if not it's going to take quite some time for the creases to naturally work themselves out. Still worth the price paid. We'll see how it wears under my dining room table.
Delighted I'm never sure about ordering online and not being able to feel the texture first but I love this mat. My entryway floor is a light color and the door traffic has me constantly cleaning the floor.. I added the mat for spring and looks polished while still collecting dirt from shoes. It's textured enough to collect dirt but not hurt your feet and leave the ‘jute’ residue from similar mats. It also adheres to the floor without tripping over it or the dog sliding across.
Great quality Wanted to write a quick review because this was an unexpectedly good looking mat. I go through doormats at one entrance to my house like they're the lying in front of the trailer for a hard-living rockstar while on tour in a war torn island nation made up entirely of Chuckie Cheese franchise locations. No idea why - but I'm used to it. So I didn't put a lot of time into selecting this thing as it's bound to only last for a few months. Looks really nice though so I got 8 more. Will be a nice year.
Great quality I’m really impressed with this checkered jute-style rug. The colors are perfectly neutral—just enough contrast to give my entryway a designer look without being loud. It pairs beautifully under my personalized doormat (photo attached), and instantly made my front porch feel more put-together. The quality surprised me in a good way. It lays completely flat, no curled edges, and feels thick and durable. Even with foot traffic and the occasional Texas wind gusts, it stays in place better than I expected. The checkered pattern looks crisp and clean, not fuzzy or washed out like some budget outdoor rugs. It’s also easy to shake out and clean, which is important since it’s used outside. I haven’t had any fading so far, and the texture gives it a nice upscale look compared to the flimsy printed mats I’ve tried in the past. If you want a rug that updates your porch instantly, layers well with a doormat, and has that classic checkered look without being overly bold, this one is a winner. I’d absolutely buy it again in another size. Overall, it worked out very well.
