Espresso in a plain weave reads cleaner and more graphic than in velvet, flatter, sharper, the deep brown grounded against pale walls. In daylight it lifts toward chestnut; under lamp light it darkens into something almost black-brown and settles the room. Soft-touch microfibre with two-way stretch hugs the cushions, tucks where most covers bunch, and holds taut through the fold-out. Two-way stretch fits both sofa and bed configurations, no retucking when you fold out for the night. Anchor it with cream walls, raw linen, and a single warm cushion, honey or caramel. The same piece, dressed for both shifts of the day.
