1. Match the mattress size
Measure your mattress width and length in centimetres and match it to the product size (for example 150 x 200 cm). As a guide by width:
- 90 cm suits a single
- 120 cm a small double
- 150 cm a king width
- 180 cm a super king width
Between two sizes? Size up. A little extra fabric tucks away neatly, whereas a sheet that is too small will not stay on.
2. Check the pocket depth
Pocket depth is the distance from the top of the mattress to where the elastic sits underneath. Measure your mattress height and add a little for a topper. Too shallow and the sheet pops off the corners; too deep and it gathers loose fabric across the surface.
