An open windowpane check is drawn across pearl grey cotton, the lines fine enough to read as structure rather than print. The morning light catches the crossings first and the bed picks up the rhythm of the room — picture frames, window mullions, the lines of a low headboard. Pearl grey holds it all in balance.
