It warms under lamplight and cools toward gray in daylight, which makes it an easy color to live with. Over a pale floor the whole thing sits like a faded tapestry.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pile is a soft faux-wool microfibre, dense and low, easy on bare feet and short enough to pass beneath a door. Its rubber backing grips wood and tile on its own, so nothing shifts when you turn on it. Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, then lay flat to dry, no tumble, and the muted tones stay true.
